The Fourth of July was a busy but fun day. We had a backyard BBQ at our house with some family. It was a lot of fun. We had a little swim pool for the kids and Halle loved it. I think she would have stayed in there all day if I let her.
After everybody was done eating we just relaxed and talked for a while. Later that evening we went to watch the fireworks. Derek got permission to use a balcony at the office where he works so we could watch the fireworks. It was nice and it was a really good view.
Halle wasn't really all that interested in the fireworks. Maybe next year she will like them more. After the fireworks we went home and went to bed after a very long day. I cant believe the Fourth of July has already come and gone. Summer is going by so quickly.
